Membership
How do I become a member of the Waipukurau Club?
To become a member, you must complete a nomination form signed by two financial members. Your application will be posted on the club’s notice board for 14 days before being reviewed by the Committee.
What are the different types of membership?
We offer several types of membership:
Ordinary Member – Standard membership for individuals or businesses.
Life Member – Awarded to individuals who have provided highly valued service to the club.
Country Member – For those residing more than 40 km away.
Long Service Member – After 40 years of membership, you qualify automatically.
Corporate/Associate Member – Businesses can apply and register staff under their membership.
Junior Member – For college-age individuals participating in club-affiliated sports.
Can my membership be revoked?
Yes, the Committee may terminate membership for unpaid fees, misconduct, or bringing the club into disrepute.
Visitors & Club Access
Can I bring guests to the club?
Yes, but visitors must sign the Visitors' Book and comply with club rules. Members are responsible for their guests. Visitors must not be frequent attendees.
Can potential new members visit the club?
Yes! If you are interested in becoming a member, you are welcome to visit the club to check out the atmosphere. Upon arrival, you will need to sign in, and our friendly bar staff will introduce you to some members who can answer your questions and help you learn more about the club.
Do visitors need to be signed in every time?
Yes, unless they are attending a special event or private function
Does the Waipukurau Club offer function room hire?
Yes, we have function rooms available for hire, along with in-house catering and bar service. Our facilities are suitable for funerals, celebrations, workshops, birthdays, and more. For inquiries, please contact us at wpk.clubs@gmail.com.

The Waipukurau Club is proudly managed by our dedicated Club Manager, Babette Moor, who is employed by our volunteer committee. Our club thrives under the leadership of President Jane Clouston, and a committed group of individuals. Our committee members are elected annually by our club members, ensuring that the leadership reflects the members voice and values.
